St. James Boxing

If you want to compete as an amateur boxer, St. James Boxing is the place to be! Our training will develop your strengths in and out of the ring. Boxing teaches discipline, dedication, mental focus and emotional management. Our training routine is tough, but the rewards are huge!

Cost: 1st training session is free / $40 per month

Monday – Friday / 6:30pm – 8:00pm / Competitive Training with Head Coach Lonny Mayer

Monday and Wednesday / 5:30pm – 6:30pm / Recreational Training with Assistant Coach John Laszlo Bruce

Jiu-Jitsu

Learn self-defense, get in shape, and have fun! Join a sport driven team focused on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a martial art based on grappling with emphasis on ground fighting.

Classes are mixed with beginner and advanced, female and male students of all ages 16+. Gym clothes is acceptable to attend the first few classes, however a Gi uniform (Kimono) should be purchased if continuing to attend class.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu - Gi
Mondays and Wednesdays 6:00 - 7:30 pm

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu - No-Gi
Tuesdays 8:00 - 9:30 pm


Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu - Drills (Gi / No-Gi)
Thursdays 8:00 - 9:30 pm

Ages 16+, no previous skills or fitness required.

Pound Fit Classes
Tuesday & Thursday 6:30 - 7:30pm

The club is always open for residents wanting to start a program that benefits the community.  Some examples:

* A fitness class like Zumba, Aerobics, Martial Arts
* Book clubs, knitting or sewing circles, seniors' groups
* Parent groups or parent and child activities
* Drawing, art or modeling classes
* Musical theatre, live plays
