Bunnies & Brunch — Easter at Bord‑Aire Celebrate Easter weekend with a cozy spring morning of brunch, learning, and gentle fun. In partnership with Popcorn and Binkies Rescue Haven, families will discover what real rabbits are like — what they eat, how they communicate, and what helps them feel safe and happy. This is an educational experience, not a petting zoo, with any interactions guided calmly by the rescue team.
Enjoy a delicious brunch, an Easter egg hunt, and spring crafts, all while supporting an incredible local rescue. Tickets are required to keep the environment peaceful for both guests and bunnies.
Annual General Meeting
Annual General Meeting – A New Chapter for Bord‑Aire
This year’s AGM marks an exciting shift for Bord‑Aire as we return to the true purpose of a community centre board: creating accessible programs, meaningful events, and a welcoming space for everyone in our neighbourhood.
We’re moving toward a collaborative board structure, removing traditional titles outside of the executive team so members can work together on projects, programs, and community initiatives. As part of this refreshed model, board members will commit to 20 hours of volunteer work throughout the year, beyond monthly meetings, to help bring events and programs to life.
Two executive positions will be open for nomination:

• Secretary
If you’re interested in taking on a leadership role, we encourage you to join us.
Our long‑standing president is excited to see this board shine and to welcome new members who want to help shape the future of Bord‑Aire.

Deck the Halls with Spaghetti and Meatballs

We’re overwhelmed, in the best way by the incredible response from our community! The 2nd Annual Deck the Halls with Spaghetti & Meatballs is now fully booked, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with all of you next Friday.

Parade of Wheels
Get ready to roll, because the Parade of Wheels is coming to you! Hosted by the Bord Aire, Deer Lodge, and Bourkevale Community Centre's, this fun and family-friendly event is open to kids of all ages – and anyone with a love for bikes, scooters, strollers, or any set of wheels!
Join us for a joyful ride through our beautiful neighbourhood, packed with exciting activities, games, and treats along the way. Whether you're riding a tricycle, a two-wheeler, or something in between, everyone is welcome to decorate their wheels and join the parade. It's a great opportunity to connect with neighbours, enjoy the outdoors, and make some unforgettable memories together.
We can’t wait to see your creativity and community spirit in action – so bring your family, bring your wheels, and come celebrate with us at the Parade of Wheels!

TRUNK-OR-TREAT 2024
We are excited to present our 5th annual Trunk or Treat 2024!
Saturday October 26th, 2024 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, join us for a spooktacular time! Trick-or-treat in the safety of our arena, visit the petting zoo, brave the haunted house!
Free admission for all!
Bring a tin for the bin, and enjoy a cup of free hot chocolate.

We are doing it again, and adding more fun a spooky activities for all!!
Bord-Aire is transformed into a Halloween extravaganza as costumed-kids run from trunk to trunk picking up treats!
Head down to the Bord-Aire C.C parking lot October 28th, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm and check out this spooky and spectacular event. Featuring Prancing Pony petting zoo, Train rides, a haunted house and more!
Arrive at 11:00am for setup. There will be prizes for best decorations!

Bord Aire and Westwood Community Band invite you to dinner and a show on June 9th at 6:30pm. Band to begin playing at 7:00pm
Free for everyone in the community! Bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on

Trunk or Treat Halloween 2020
Trunk or Treat Halloween was a success! Over 100 attendants and dozen spookily decorated vehicles kept are hearts beating on this cold day!

The club is always open for residents wanting to start a program that benefits the community. Some examples:
A fitness class like zumba, aerobics, martial arts
Book clubs, knitting or sewing circles, seniors' groups
Parent groups or parent and child activities
Drawing, art or modeling classes
Musical theatre, live plays
