Rolling Through the Community: A Joyful Success at the Parade of Wheels!

What a beautiful day it was in our neighborhood! The Parade of Wheels, proudly hosted by Bord Aire Bourkevale and Deer Lodge Community Centre, rolled through the streets with joy, laughter, and the cheerful sounds of bells and wheels. From bikes and scooters to wagons and walkers, the parade was a true celebration of community spirit and active living.

The event brought out families, friends, and neighbors of all ages. Whether it was a little one proudly riding with training wheels or a decorated wagon pulled by siblings, the energy was contagious. It was amazing to see everyone moving, smiling, and enjoying the fresh air together.

A huge thank you goes out to all the volunteers and marshals who made this event run smoothly and safely. Your time, energy, and warm smiles helped keep the day fun and stress-free for everyone. And of course, we want to extend a heartfelt thanks to every community member who showed up, decorated their ride, or simply came to cheer along the route.

The Parade of Wheels wasn’t just about rolling — it was about connecting, celebrating our neighborhood, and staying active in the most fun way possible. It was a perfect reminder of the strength and vibrancy we have when we come together.
